It was important to the new CEO that the 60th anniversary conference had a purpose other than just a celebration like the conference had been in years past. Because Motel 6's iconic tagline is "We'll Leave the Light on for You," it made sense to incorporate the tag into the theme without being too on the nose. Thus, the G6 Shine Bright Together conference was born.
